    Nice place to read or hang out with friends. Whenever I needed to get out of my house to study, or read, I would end up in Mishka's somehow. I like the enjoyed the conversations with staff as well as drinks. Mint or lavender latte what I would recommend but not at the same time :D Mint latte was after meal and lavender was for the mornings! I also appreciated their tea options! Definitely give it a try!

    Passing through, I needed to use a bathroom and while I was at it, get a beverage too. Whoweeee! I got a mint latte! It is so strong I think my hair is growing in stronger now! I can't finish my drink but it will definitely useful tomorrow morning! LOL!

    Great coffee spot in Davis. Great selection of coffee and pastries and treats. The staff are always friendly and the coffee good. Sometimes it is too busy so I usually get it to go. But typical small city coffee hangout. Great local spot that students and locals alike share. Give it a go. Only downsides is it is a little pricey and sometimes there is a wait.

    Mishka's is exactly what comes to mind when you think of a locally owned, community coffee shop, whose house made drinks and pastries have become a downtown staple. They are often busy, but that goes to show how popular and well-loved their food and drinks are. It's also super fun to follow their instagram stories to see the new flavors of scones and muffins they serve, which can get super creative! The inside is warm and cozy, with locally-sourced art, and plenty of seating, and the outdoor seating is just as lovely, with a view of the surrounding downtown area. On this visit we ordered a pumpkin latte and a peanut butter mocha, which were artfully made. Their drinks do not tend to be on the sweet side at all- something I really appreciate since I am not much of a sugary drink person. But if you are looking for more Starbucks-like flavor, definitely ask for additional syrup and/or sweetener. We also ordered the peach scone with passion fruit icing, and all I can say is you need to go order one for yourself to truly experience the soft, fruity masterpiece. It can be really easy to make scones wrong, but Mishka's has it down to a science, with perfect balance of moisture with a crumbly texture, tasty fruit pieces dispersed throughout, and a sweet, tangy icing to tie it all together. The food and drinks do tend to be on the pricier side - you are definitely paying for the quality you receive - but they are a perfect every-once-in-a-while treat, or weekly splurge. Mishka's will forever be a top contender among some of Davis's already impressive coffee shops, and I highly recommend stopping by, for the wonderful food and drink, and the comforting community feel.
